Philosophy

The most healing environment is one where individuals can relax and talk freely about their experience.  Such an environment allows people to examine the parts of the psyche that have long been overlooked or unknown. By reclaiming these parts over time, they become more themselves and many positive things happen as a result. This is the type of environment I seek to provide for my patients, because different symptoms are only different ways of coping with an inner life that is divided and not indicative of the whole person.

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents within a Jungian framework. From my professional and personal experience, Jung’s model speaks to the breadth and depth of a person’s soul and is capable of initiating personal transformations that endure. My work seeks not only to alleviate symptoms, but to facilitate change from the deepest layers of psyche.

How Change Occurs

Awareness is the agent of healing and personal transformation. Thus I seek to assist my patients in becoming more aware of who they are on the inside. With this awareness, change naturally evolves.
